Day 01 Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park (Same as Day 1 of Kinabalu Park Tour)
Day 02 Kinabalu National Park / Mt Kinabalu (B/L/D)
Begin your ascent up Mt Kinabalu from Timpohon Gate 5.5km from Park Headquarters. Walk up the step natural staircase of tree roots and rocks where today's ascent will reach the first camp at 3,322 metres. Spend the night at Laban Rata resthouse (basic amenities only: dormitory style, hot water, heater and blankets).
Day 03 Mt Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Today's ascend to the summit begins at 03h00 to savour the breathtaking view from the "top of Borneo". On the way down, enjoy the sights of the unique flora that surrounds you, including rare plants, rhododendrons and orchids. Look out for the pitcher plant that feasts on unwary insects. Descend to the Park Headquarters and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
