Visit Sabah’s most popular National Park, the Kinabalu National Park gazetted as a World Heritage Site in 2000. The park covers 754 sq km and is the home to the highest mountain between the Himalayas and Papua New Guinea. Acclaimed to have two thirds of the world’s floras, some of which are endemic to the mountain area only. Look out for the exceptionally rare and beautiful Slipper Orchids. The world’s largest pitcher plant can also be found in Kinabalu Park. Ideal for bird watchers as more than 264 species of birds including  migratory  birds  have  been  recorded  here.  Drive  past  vistas  of  rice  fields  and  native  villages. Participate  in  the  daily jungle  walk  with  a  Park  Naturalist  on  guided  trails and  learn  about  some  of  the medicinal  plants  found  along  the  way.  On  a  clear  day,  visitors  will  be  able  to  view  the  majestic  Mount Kinabalu 4,095m) above lush tropical jungles.
