Learn the lifestyle of this local tribe in this interesting trip, which will bring you to the northernmost tip of Sabah. Overland to Kudat passing scenic countryside, rice fields and water buffalo among others. Experience the local culture as you visit one of the typical traditional longhouse villages and observe the Rungus tribe doing their daily chores. The Rungus are well known in Sabah as highly skilled artisans who traditionally make colourful beaded necklaces from local plant seeds and clay. After lunch, visit Kampung Gambizou to see how the villagers keep rare bees for honey.

Day 01 Kota Kinabalu / Kudat (L/D)
Drive 3 hours overland to Kudat to visit traditional longhouse and mingle with natives Rungus. After lunch at the longhouse, depart to nearby villages to learn the small cottage industry of honey bee rearing and gong making. Then return to longhouse and for the rest of the day you are free to explore the surrounding longhouses. In the evening, dine with the native chief with rice wine and cultural performance.

Day 02 Kudat / Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
After breakfast check out and continue for another 1 hour drive to Simpang Mengayau, the `Tip of Borneo'. Experience the breathtaking view of the South China Sea and Sulu Sea before heading to the white sandy beaches for a swim and a simple lunch beside the sea. Return to Kota Kinabalu in the mid afternoon.
