Day 01 Sandakan / Selingan Island (L/D)
Meet at airport or hotel in Sandakan and transfer to jetty for one hour boat ride to Selingan Island. On arrival, brief on "dos" and "don'ts" before check in to your designated accommodation. After lunch, you are free to explore the surrounding island or just rest in your room to conserve your energy while waiting for turtles to crawl ashore and lay eggs on the island, the highlight of your visit. NOTE: Night photography of turtles using camera without flash only
Day 02 Selingan Island / Sepilok Orangutan / Sandakan (B/L)
After breakfast, return to mainland and transfer to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (the world's largest rehabilitation centre). Proceed to mini theatre for 21 min documentary show on the rehabilitation programme before entering the tropical rainforest on a wooden plank walk to view feeding of the orangutans by the Park Rangers. Then return to Sandakan and begin to visit places of interest including WWII POW's Camp, Buddhist Temple, and Sims water village and bustling Central Market among others.
Tour ends in Sandakan and transfer to airport or hotel
